Kingsport Dental Clinic

Hello, my name is Nabila Riaz. I am one of the principle partners here at Kingsport Dental Clinic. I graduated from Dundee Dental School in 1993. My former years were spent working the hospital sector. Firstly at Edinburgh Dental Institute and then in the Oral Surgery Unit in Dunfermline. I then went on to work in private general dental practice for several years. I very much enjoy general practice and endeavour to provide a high standard of continuing care to my patients.

I have developed a career as a dentist over the last 15 years during which time I have also been a home maker and mother of two boys. Having a wonderful family inspires me to advance further in dentistry because I realise the importance of health and general well being within my family. I have a passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry and strive to continue my professional development for the true benefit of my patients. It is my belief that in my field I improve a patients confidence by improving their smile.

I graduated in Dentistry from the University of Manchester in 2007 and have since worked in general dental practice in London, having relocated to Edinburgh last year. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and have a particular keen interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as oral surgery. I am currently studying to obtain membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery in the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh as I am committed to continual professional development and believe in delivering the highest standard of care and the latest techniques. Outside of dentistry, i enjoy socialising with friends, cooking and travelling.
