Qualified from Sheffield dental hospital in 1993. Post graduate training with Paul Tipton (Specialist Prosthodontist) from 2005-2007. Diploma for Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) 2007. Special interest in Orthodontics. Yorkshire Deanary Fixed Appliance Training Scheme 2002-2004. I have worked at York Hospital’s orthodontic department one session a week since 2009. Member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies

Dental Hygienist (GDC No. 2998) I’m Rachel Hammond. I am a qualified hygienist and have worked at the practice for 30 years. As a member of our dedicated friendly team my aim is to help you gain and maintain excellent oral health. I am a qualified Yoga teacher and currently run 4 classes a week in the York area. My husband Steve and I love hiking in the Alps and regularly visit Austria and Switzerland

GDC No. 122280) I'm Vanessa. I am the Practice Administrator and Receptionist, as well as being a qualified Dental Nurse. I was promoted to practice administrator in 2014 and I am currently undergoing a 12 month course to increase my skills. After 18 years as a qualified dental nurse I continue to work in surgery twice a month to maintain and update my knowledge. I am married to Paul and have two dogs, Mille and Reef. My husband and I are keen photographers and spend a lot of our spare time looking through a lens.
