Cox's Dental Health Care

Steve is the second half of the partnership that makes up Coxs Dental Health Care. Having qualified from Birmingham University Steve completed a year working in the busy hospital maxillofacial department in Coventry, and has continued to maintain his interest in oral surgery ever since.  As well as routine and cosmetic dental work Steve specialises in placing Dental Implants - a modern technique that involves placing a titanium socket into the jawbone in order to support a crown or bridge. Steve also undertakes non-dental cosmetic work and can offer [Treatment name removed] and skin fillers from either the surgery or from a specialist clinic in Warwickshire.

Lis qualified from Birmingham in 1975 and after a period working in community dentistry she moved to Warwickshire as one of the founding partners of Coxs Dental Health Care. Lis has recently been awarded her MSc in General Dental Practice which covered areas such as dental aesthetics, periodontology (gum problems) and tooth whitening.  One topic of particular interest was treating nervous patients and so she has carried out extra training to enable her to offer intravenous conscious sedation for anyone who is nervous or who has particularly complex treatments that they want to have done. She is a keen singer and has been a member of St. Michael’s Singers in Coventry for a number of years.

GDC: 244101 Simon received his dental qualifications from the Dental Institute at Kings College London, and is now the owner and principal dentist at Cox’s Dental Health Care. Aside from treating patients on an everyday basis, Simon’s responsibilities also include leading the team and “changing the light bulbs”! When he’s not restoring the practice illumination, Simon works to restore patients’ dental health and particularly enjoys seeing them smile after a successful treatment. Outside work, Simon has a busy lifestyle. He is a keen gardener and enjoys watching rugby matches, coaching youth cricket and U7’s rugby, as well as keeping tropical fish.

GDC: 1626 As Cox’s Dental Hygienist, it is Jane’s job to help educate patients about maintaining good oral health, and also to provide thorough teeth and gum cleaning. She likes helping people improve their oral care, and ultimately ensuring they keep their own teeth rather than losing them to damage and decay. When she’s not at work, Jane likes to spend time crafting – particularly knitting and quilting. She frequently goes on walks to keep herself fit, but her stamina levels are also boosted by regularly looking after her granddaughter!
