Kells Lane InDental

James qualified from Newcastle University in 2012. Since then he has gone onto gain further qualifications with the Royal College of Surgeons to become a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in 2013, in Glasgow. He also has an interest in sedation, and has gained a Core Certificate in Conscious Sedation from Newcastle University. Within dentistry, James has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry. He is a certified provider of Six Months Smiles orthodontics, having gained this qualification in 2014. He also has a keen interest in facial aesthetics, and is a certified treatment for wrinkle and Dermal fillers provider. He takes pride in a preventative approach to dentistry, and enjoys teaching children the importance of oral health.

Shiv qualified from Newcastle University in 1985, and has since gained qualifications as a Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitoners (MFGDP) and the Diploma in Conscious Sedation. He also holds a degree in Law (LLB Hons), which he obtained in 1996. With a keen interest in Restorative Dentistry, Shiv has completed a one year postgraduate course in Implant Dentistry from Sheffield Dental Hospital. Shiv has many varied interests within dentistry. He is a Dental Clinical Adviser for the Northern Area commissioning team, and also chairs the Professional Conduct Committee at the General Dental Council in London. Shiv has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, implants and the treatment of anxious patients using sedation.

Shaniff Makhani qualified from Newcastle University in 1991. He received his Master of Science (Restorative Dentistry) from Newcastle University in 1995 and membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2005. His specialities and interests include preventative dentistry, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry and teaching. Shaniff is also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Newcastle Dental School.
