Dr David VaughanDentist BDSDavid qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1979. Whilst he was originally from Manchester he is now a committed North Easterner. After qualifying, David worked in Sunderland before buying the current practice from Mr Jurowski in 1984. David has also held orthodontic positions at Sunderland General Hospital and has been a trainer for the vocational dentist scheme four times. David continues to keep his skills bang up-to-date by attending professional training and development regularly.

AmandaReceptionist Hi, my name is Amanda and after leaving school I decided to train as a dental nurse. I joined the North East Chamber of Commerce for my training and joined a local dental practice in Sunderland for my placement.I qualified in 2005 passing the National Certificate in Dental Nursing.I joined David Vaughan Dental Practice in January 2010 after returning from a trip to Australia.

Sheryn VaughanReceptionist Sheryn has spent all of her working life welcoming people and putting them at their ease. Having spent a long and interesting career as an airline cabin manager flying all over the world, she decided to give up her ‘wings’ and landed as the practice receptionist five years ago.
