Practice Manager/Treatment Coordinator Friendly, warm and always with a smile on her face, Susie is a welcoming face and personality at Danny de Villiers Dentist. Originally from Wales and formally a school teacher, Susie decided to change career paths and enter the world of dentistry. She has spent a couple of years marketing dental practices and is currently training to be a dental nurse and has undertaken courses for the role of TCO. Susie's calm manner and empathy towards patients, helps nervous patients feel relaxed and comfortable. She loves meeting new people, both personally and professionally and has an eye for detail when it comes to her work. Susie's kind nature means she is very easy to get on with and has the ability to make people feel at ease. Susie's interest outside work are going to the gym, walking her dog, watching Wales play rugby and a great passion for music.

After graduating as a Dental Therapist from Sheffield University, Kate has continued her medical training by gaining a Diploma in skin care and facial massage accredited by BABTAC & The Guild - and Level 4 in Advanced Skin Science - IISHCA - International Institute Of Skin Health and Clinical Aesthetics. She is trained in Dermaroller, chemical peels, cosmeceutical products and injectables including dermal fillers. Facial Aesthetics works synergistically with dentistry in particular, due to the complex anatomy and physiology of the head and neck. Above all, Kate is passionate about results driven skin care, rejuvenation and maintenance, which bridges the gap between conventional beauty therapy and surgical intervention.

Dr de Villiers has acquired an excellent reputation as a general dentist and an expert in functional orthodontics. Danny qualified at the University of Pretoria in 1981. After completing 2 years National Service as a dentist in a township hospital, he set up his own private practice, gaining vast experience in all aspects of general dentistry. He also undertook voluntary work during this period. Danny's interest in Functional Orthodontics started back in 1986, after his first child was born. He realised that she would benefit from early Functional (non-extraction) Orthodontics. Since then, he has remained very passionate about his commitment to furthering his skills and has undergone extensive training both nationally and internationally.
