Trinity House Dental Practice

Originally from the Northwest of England, I trained at Guys (UMDS) in London and moved to the South West fifteen years ago. I’ve worked in general practice for most of that time, but did spend a year as an SHO in the Oral Surgery Department in Taunton’s Musgrove Park hospital.I really enjoy my chosen career, the challenges and the fact that every day is different. The best parts of my job are putting nervous patients at ease and cosmetic work that enables people to smile again.I love to travel when I get the opportunity, the more out-of-the-way, the better.

She is the Dental hygienist at Trinity House and have worked here since 2002. She qualified as a hygienist whilst serving with the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, where I treated troops and their families; I left on marriage, and continued to travel around with my husband who was also in the Army. She have worked in all sorts of Dental environments, from NHS to private and within the community Dental service in Oral Surgery departments. She love my job, and take pride when I can help people to make most of their biggest asset. Their smile! Her hobbies are swimming, reading, cooking, and anything to do with animals, nature and enjoy nothing more than going for lovely long walks with my husband and my Border Terrier Dax.

She is the practice manager I have been involved in a career in dentistry since my first job as a dental nurse in 1996 and went on to pass my national certificate for dental nurses in 1998. I have enjoyed my time as a dental nurse and am welcoming the new challenges of dental practice management. She is married to Matt and have 3 wonderful children who between them keep me very busy as chief taxi driver for various activities. We have a cavalier King Charles spaniel called Rosie who has been a part of our family for the last 7 years. Our newest additions are two Red Eyed Green Tree Frogs called Iggy and Ziggy. When I find time I like to take part in raising money for charity and have taken part in the race for life in aid of breast cancer several times and also The memory walk on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society.
