Berwick Smile Dental Care

(Tandarts/DDS). She studied Dentistry in The Netherlands at the Radboud University Nijmegen. Her main subjects were cosmetic dentistry and special dentistry. She graduated with distinction in 2004. After working as a dentist in a prestigious dental clinic in the Netherlands for six years, Indra was ready for a new challenge. She moved to Northumberland to live with her partner Hendrik and started her own practice. They still enjoy the beautiful Northumbrian scenery every day! Her dream was to create a unique practice which is modern and comfortable, where state-of-the-art techniques are combined with excellent patient care. We think that definitely worked out well! She is registered with the General Dental Council (151431), is a member of the British Dental Association, the Dental Defence Union and is a Gold member of the British Dental Bleaching Society. She is a certified provider for Six Month Smiles and Inman Aligner. Indra is committed to continuing professional development and has completed several year-long courses, including Implantology, with the famous Dr Paul Tipton.

Dental nurse and Receptionist. She started working at Berwick Smile Dental Care in 2010 when it first opened. She completed her Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2011 and has since enhanced her skills with different courses such as Implant Dental Nursing and Treatment Coordination. In March 2014, she took a career break to travel Australia with her partner for 6 months. Although she enjoyed the beautiful weather, she couldn’t wait to come back to her family and Berwick Smile. Having a passion for dentistry, she has been able to strengthen her skills within the practice working with Indra, absorbing all her knowledge and taking great pride in working with a great dentist. She is a registered dental nurse with the General Dental Council (230321).

She joined Berwick Smile Dental Care after a couple of different jobs in retail management, administration and office accounts. She now enjoys the opportunity to work in a professional team, meeting new patients and is enthusiastic about developing her dental nursing skills further. She has a daughter, Chloe. She likes to maintain a healthy lifestyle, eating healthy and keeping fit. She enjoys listening to music. In her spare time she goes to concerts with her husband Craig and spends time with her friends. She is registered with the General Dental Council (231880).
