We are proud of the personal service we provide. Our highly qualified, friendly staff go beyond the ordinary, to give you an individual experience as we are all aware of how emotive a visit to the dentist can be. We understand some apprehension is natural before a dental appointment and we make every effort to ensure you remain as comfortable and relaxed as possible. For our less able bodied patients we have a ramp to the rear of the building and a downstairs surgery. We also have a downstairs bathroom. A hearing loop is provided on reception. Large print information can be printed at your request. Any member of staff would be more than happy to read out and explain any of our information. .

Dr Chris HandDentist BChD (Leeds 2004), MJDF (RCS Eng 2012) - GDC No 83509 Chris graduated from Leeds University Dental School in 2004 and then completed his year of Vocational Training in York. Since then he has completed a diploma in dental healthcare at the Royal College of Surgeons and a postgraduate certificate course in advanced restorative dentistry. He has also previously taught minor oral surgery to undergraduate dental students at Leeds University.

Dr Catherine LightowlerDentist BChD (Leeds) DipConSed (Newcastle) GDC No. 83412 General Dentist with special interests in sedation, implants and restorative dentistry. Catherine has been an associate at Carlton House Dental Practice, Knaresborough for almost eight years, and is our longest serving dental practitioner. She is a popular choice with patients due to her friendly, approachable manner and conscientious approach to dentistry.
