Neil Connell is the Principal Dentist of Barron Dental. He qualified from Glasgow University in 1999. He is very happy to treat the whole of your family and has gained a lot of experience in treating adults and children. He has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry. Anything from teeth whitening to advanced cases where complex treatment is required. He especially enjoys restoring missing teeth with implants.Neil is an enthusiastic, caring dentist who is very interested in continually expanding his knowledge in the latest advancements in dentistry. Having worked in the Lothian area since 2001, he regularly attends postgraduate courses and a number of dental study clubs, where he and his peers can discuss freely and learn from each other about the latest developments in dentistry. His keen interest in dentistry has taken him to dental clinics and hospitals in America and all over the UK.Neil also has many years of experience in Wrinkle Reduction treatments.

Alison graduated from Dundee University in 1998. With an attention to detail, Alison is a sympathetic and empathetic dentist who particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry and treating people with gum disease. A mother of two, she has a kind and compassionate nature and provides excellent dental care for families and young people.Her enthusiasm and attention to detail have been recognised through her career and she has previously held positions as a Vocational Training practice inspector. She joined Barron Dental in 2000 and her reputation and professional stature continues to grow.Very committed to continue her development in order to provide the most effective solutions on all aspects of dental health she attends many postgraduate courses throughout each year.

Fiona graduated from Glasgow University in 2008. Fiona is a friendly and caring dentist, who is dedicated to improving and maintaining your dental health. Her first few years of work were spent in the Lothian area where she built a practice with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for her patients. She then moved onto London, where she developed her skills within an excellent dental practice in Wimbledon and by attending a number of advanced postgraduate courses. This allowed her to develop her skills in implant placement and short term teeth straightening techniques with ClearSmile Braces.With Fiona joining Barron Dental we have introduced Dental Implant placement and straightening of teeth with ClearSmile Braces. Fiona will also be happy to help you with Wrinkle Reduction treatments.

Shona graduated from the University of Dundee and started her career in Dumfries and Galloway, before recently relocating to Edinburgh. Shona enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and especially likes working with anxious patients and children, and watching their confidence grow over time. Very committed to continue her development in order to provide the most effective solutions on all aspects of dental health she attends many postgraduate courses throughout each year.
