BSc Hons Immunol, BDS Glasgow - GDC number: 62142John Gall has been the practice owner since 1991. John graduated from Glasgow University in 1987, with his BDS and Honours BSc in Immunology, with a special interest in food allergy and intolerance. Having spent a further period in the Glasgow Dental Hospital, John worked in the Borders and Edinburgh before taking over the practice in Barnton. John was a Vocational Trainer for 7 seven years during the 1990\\\s, before resigning to concentrate on the development of the practice. He was also Secretary to the Lothian Local Dental Committee, and sat on the Denplan Advisory Board until its demise in 2003. He is a past Scottish Practice Assessor, acting for Denplan, with their Excel Quality Assurance programme. Special clinical interests include Implantology, Cosmetic Dentistry and Preventive care, John is at the leading edge of Cerec dentistry in th UK. John has trained widely over recent years in advanced implantology and digital dentistry treatment, including courses in Sweden, France and North America. Current member of the British Dental Association, Association of Dental Implantology, and the European Association of Osseointegration.

Dr Ian Ollerhead joined the practice as Partner and co-owner in 2013. He grew up in Edinburgh and qualified from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2005. Ian has considerable experience in private dentistry and his particular areas of clinical expertise include comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and CEREC digital technology.He holds a clinical teaching position at the University of Glasgow Dental Hospital and also tutors newly qualified dentists. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons through examination and has also recently completed a four year postgraduate Masters Degree in restorative dentistry at the University of Leeds. He is one of very few dentists in the country to hold such a qualification and his level of training is of great benefit to patients of the practice.He is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the British Society of Restorative Dentistry, the British Society of Occlusal Studies and the Royal Odontochirurgical Society of Scotland.
