Court Drive Dental Practice

GDC No: 84922 Dr Yasir Noorani works at the practice full-time. He started his career in general dentistry. He later moved into hospital dentistry, securing a postgraduate Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He returned to general dental practice in 2004. Since then he has pursued his interest in restorative and implant dentistry. Yasir takes a caring approach and aims to explain all treatment options effectively to ensure that the patient has input and is comfortable in the decision that he/she makes. Dr Noorani has taken certified courses in cosmetic dentistry, implants and invisible braces. He is a regular attendee at professional meetings and postgraduate courses and keeps up-to-date with new technologies and treatments.

GDC No: 170793 Dr Mariam Shahid works at the practice part-time. She started her career in community dentistry. She later moved into hospital dentistry and is currently working towards securing her postgraduate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and that of Edinburgh. She is also a clinical fellow in orthodontics. Dr Shahid has an interest in oral surgery and orthodontics alongside general dentistry. As members of the British Dental Association, our dentists are able to maintain the high-quality of dental care we provide through advice, meetings and courses.

Sue is well known to all the patients of the practice as she has been working here since March 1994. Initially sue took over from Tracey as a temporary staff member covering her maternity leave. Due to Sue’s hardworking and reliable nature, the practice couldn’t let her go so she became a permanent staff member. Sue is not only a qualified dental nurse but also a medical nurse. She is good at first aid and is also our cross infection lead. She is a trained implant nurse and keeps up do date with the latest updates in her field of work. Currently Sue has been looking into further training in Oral Health.Sue was born in Watford and grew up in then Southern Rhodesia. She returned to England after her nursing degree and registration in 1979.Our patients love Sue’s cakes and so do we. She is very creative and talented and we enjoy every occasion with her fancy cakes. She is a valued member of the team that helps with the smooth running of this friendly practice.

Dr Attiah Khan works at the practice part time. Since graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2011 she went on to complete vocational training in the Midlands. Following this she had the privilege of working as a senior house officer in the oral-maxillofacial department. This allowed her to further enhance her skills in Oral Surgery as well as building a greater knowledge and understanding of various oral conditions and diseases. Dr. Khan has continued to develop her skills in general practice through further post graduate examinations and has successfully gained MJDF qualification. Dr. Khan regularly attends post graduate courses and has a particular interest in both restorative and oral surgery.

Sarah joined the practice on a permanent basis in 2011. Sarah is known for her friendly nature. She is always smiling and is an energetic worker. Her beaming white smile motivates a number of patients and staff to get their teeth whitened.Sarah is very experienced and is eager to learn more. She has been trained in implant dentistry and continues to look into further developing her career as a nurse. She keeps herself up to date with the latest developments. Currently Sarah is keen to learn more in facial aesthetics. . She is a valued member of the team that helps with the smooth running of this friendly practice.

Tracey has known the practice for years. She went on maternity leave in 1994, since then till 2011 she worked as a temporary staff member as and when. In 2011 Tracey re-joined the practice on a permanent basis. Tracey qualified as a dental nurse 20years ago. She has significant experience in nursing and has been a qualified implant nurse for 10 years. She has helped a great deal with practice management and shares responsibility of running the practice. Apart from being very responsible, Tracey is very quick and speedy at whatever she does making sure tasks are done efficiently and in the correct manner. She is a valued member of the team that helps with the smooth running of this friendly practice
