Earlsfield Dental Practice

Since becoming Principal Dentist in 2004, Dr Fung has slowly transformed MyDentist, equipping it with state of the art technology to enable amazing innovative, efficient, and great patient experience. The successful establishment of the Earlsfield practice has led to expansion and the opening of our new practice in Wandsworth Town, which opened in April 2011. Wandsworth Town is a private practice, with state of art facilities, and with the philosophy of Minimal Cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Yaman Walid qualified as a dentist from the university of Manchester dental school in 2005 after which he completed a year of vocational training in North Wales. Dr Walid was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh after a series of hospital posts in oral and maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry in the Yorkshire region. Dr Walid held a number of associate positions in general dental practice in both private and NHS settings and as a clinical teacher in restorative dentistry at the Leeds dental institute looking after dental students in training, which he particularly enjoyed. He holds a post graduate certificate in health research, a very essential tool to enable him to provide the best possible treatment options for his patients, based on sound scientific evidence. As well as enjoying all aspects of dentistry, Dr Walid has a keen interest in the field of prosthodontics; one of 13 dental specialties recognised by the General Dental Council. This specialty constitutes restoring natural teeth and creating and placing natural-looking substitutes or prosthetic teeth. Dr Walid is currently undertaking a four year specialist training programme in prosthodontics at Guys hospital and Kings College London. Outside dentistry, Dr Walid enjoys playing football and is a talented cook; otherwise he is busy looking after his young family.

Dental Surgeon. She graduated from Leeds University. Since then she has developed a specific interest in cosmetic dentistry.

Dental Surgeon. He qualified from the University of Birmingham and completed his vocational training in leafy Edgbaston. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, his goal being to restore teeth and make them look as natural as possible using modern techniques including re-enforced porcelain, veneers along with composite fillings.

Dental Hygienist & Dental Therapist. She qualified in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy from the prestigious King’s College Hospital, London. She excelled in delivering non-surgical periodontal treatment and won the annual award for hygiene clinical skills.
