Sharoe Green Dental Practice

Principal Dentist GDC 66547 PD I graduated from Newcastle University Dental School in 1991. I joined the team at Sharoe Green Dental Practice in March 1998 and became Principal of the practice in October 2001. I co-own the Practice with my wife Lesley, who manages the practice leaving me more time to spend treating patients. I have studied for a postgraduate diploma in restorative and cosmetic dentistry at UCLAN, achieving the award, with merit, in November 2012, and I have recently successfully passed the MJDF exam.

Dental Therapist GDC 124794 DT I am the practice Dental Therapist, and I joined the team in 2008. I graduated from Liverpool University with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy. Here at Sharoe Green, I provide both dental hygiene and dental therapy services to our patients. As a Dental Therapist, I am qualified to do a variety of treatments including fillings, radiographs, impressions, extraction of deciduous teeth, tooth whitening, oral hygiene, periodontal treatments and stain removal.

Practice Manager GDC 187962 PM I am the Practice Manager and co-owner of the practice. My role involves all aspects of running a dental practice. I am involved in management decisions, planning the long-term future of the practice, as well as the day-to-day planning. I was highly commended as Practice Manager of the Year 2013 and was presented with the award at a dinner at the private Dentistry Awards in London. I am a qualified Dental Nurse, and I have also taken further studies and gained my Advanced Certificate in Health Service Management. Other courses I have completed are my HNC in Business & Finance, and the staff members Invisalign certification course. Core personal development (CPD) skills are always on the agenda for all our staff and always ongoing. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, walk my dogs, and holiday in our caravan.
