Qualified from Manchester University with honors in 2001. After a year in practice I gained one of only two places nationally to study restorative dentistry at the prestigious Leeds Dental Institute. During my time there I treated numerous complex dental cases referred by general dentists. I also gained an additional registered qualification which involved numerous examinations, the MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.I have completed numerous courses on cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and treatment of nervous patients. I have also completed a series of courses by the New York Aesthetic Advantage Group run by Dr Larry Rosenthal who is regarded as the world leader in advanced dentistry.  It is one of the most advanced and respected cosmetic dental courses in the world. As well as constantly going on new courses myself for the benefit of my patients I am a mentor and teach cosmetic dentistry to fellow dentists.

Dr Usman Qureshi graduated from University of Manchester in 2001 and received Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2003.Following graduation, Dr Qureshi has gained a broad range of experience in a number of different dental specialties after working in a number of leading UK dental institutes. He has gained experience in maxillofacial surgery, paediatric dentistry and restorative dentistry whilst working at Manchester Dental Hospital and Guys Dental Hospital, London.In 2004 he became a specialist registrar in Orthodontics at the Royal London Dental Hospital where he has trained under some of Europes most prominent orthodontists and where he continues to work part-time. Whilst there not only has he been engaged in providing orthodontics services but he has also been involved in some of the UKs most exciting orthodontic clinical research which has culminated in him being awarded a Masters degree in Orthodontics from the University of London.

After graduating Robert spent eight years in maxillofacial and oral surgery positions and is now recognised as an expert in oral surgery. During 2000 Robert completed (with distinction) a year-long MSc Implant Dentistry programme at Eastman Dental Hospital, London. This prestigious training is the best of its kind throughout the UK. Since 2003 he has been an Associate Specialist at Cardiff Dental Hospital in Dental Implantology. During this time Robert has completed the most complex dental implant treatments including treating patients who have Hypodontia (born with no adult teeth). Whilst in this role, Robert has also been involved in teaching postgraduate and undergraduate students about dental implants. Robert has also been involved in setting up teaching programmes at the University of Wales in bone grafting and dental implants.

 Country of Qualification – EnglandDuring the last ten years Bhavish has carried out innovative and complex dental treatments for a variety of patients. After graduating from Manchester University in 1998, Bhavish completed a course in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Bhavish has worked at Carisbrook Dental since 1999 and also works at a London cosmetic referral centre.Bhavish has a strict practising philosophy, “treat patients as you would expect to be treated”. His work ethic is friendly, gentle and reassuring and he is particularly good with nervous patients. He always ensures that he explains what condition his patient has and what their treatment options are so that they feel able to make the choices that are right for them and feel more relaxed.Many of Bhavish’s patients have had their confidence and self-esteem transformed through his cosmetic procedures. As well as comprehensive cosmetic dentistry.Bhavish regularly attends seminars and postgraduate courses to develop his knowledge and skills in the field. As an active member of the British Dental Association, the Association of Facial Aesthetics and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, Bhavish ensures that he is kept up-to-date with the latest advances in treatments.

Country of Qualification – EnglandAfter qualifying from Manchester University Glen Maxwell undertook a then optional vocational training year associated with Leeds University and has been working in General Practice ever since.He joined Dental Care in Manchester shortly after in 1992 and is one of the longest serving members of our wonderful dental team here.Glen Maxwell has continued with his postgraduate education, most recently undertaking a year long advanced restorative course and a series of occlusion courses with the Stockport Dental Seminars Group.He offers a full range of dental treatment at Carisbrook in Manchester, from teeth whitening and cosmetic dentistry to straight forward non-complex restorative procedures.A testament to Glen’s friendly, considerate and amenable manner is the returning patient base he has built up over the sixteen years at our Manchester practice.
