This means he wishes to help you have the dental care that you want, that is right for you, with your consent, no other agenda. Tony has been at 406 Bury Old Road since 1981. He was born, raised, educated and lives locally. Tony is married with three adult children. In 2012, Tony was voted number 9 in the “Top 50 most influential dentists” in a UK wide vote. Tony was elected as chair for the Annual Conference of Local Dental Committees for 2014. He runs a leading website and forum for UK dentistry named GDPUK. He is a long term member of the British Dental Association, honoured with the role of President of the Manchester branch of the British Dental Association in 2008, he is also a member of Alpha Omega. After qualifying at Leeds University in 1982, he have continued with my dental training by participating in many postgraduate educational courses and programmes. My main interests lie in the field of cosmetic and rerstorative dentistry. He have completed a 12-month course on aesthetic dentistry. He have also completed further 12-month courses in advanced restorative dentistry and dental implantology. He have a commitment to life-long learning to improve my knowledge and clinical expertise. He believe that a beautiful smile will give us improved self-esteem and confidence. Scientific studies have shown that a beautiful smile is associated with health, intelligence and success. He is a member of the British Dental Association and The British Society for Restorative Dentistry. He married to Liz, and have 2 grown up children, Simon and Joanne. She qualified as a dental hygienist at Manchester Dental Hospital in 1998 and has been with us at 406 Dental ever since. Adele is registered with the General Dental Council and a member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists. She enjoys running and going to the gym. After having 2 premature babies Adele along with another mum has helped set up a parent support group for families of special care babies. This is in conjunction with BLISS the premature baby charity for which Adele often gets involved with fund raising. GDC number 5350.
