Boclair Dental Practice

BSc BDS, GDC No: 56276 Richard qualified Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1981 from Glasgow University. During the 33 years since qualification he has gained valuable experience in general dentistry working in a variety of posts in Scotland, Greater London and overseas in Saudi Arabia. He has a special interest in implant and cosmetic dentistry and cosmetic orthodontics. This interest has been supported by attendance at many postgraduate courses, workshops and events over very many years. Having been a vocational dental trainer for 8 years, he was providing training, mentoring and support to new postgraduate dentists in the practice setting. Richard is currently a member of BDA and BACD. He has many years experience as a principal dentist having operated and run a total of three dental practices and held various associate positions in his earlier career. His main interests outside dentistry include, golf, football, photography, film and theatre, and long weekend walks with his dogs Charlie and Skye. Richard is married to Irene and blessed with 3 children David, Jonathan and Stephanie

Clare qualified in 2005 from University of Dundee and has gained a variety of experience in general dental practice throughout Scotland. She has undergone further study and gained a postgraduate qualification in healthcare law and ethics. She enjoys a all aspects of general dental practice especially being able to put patients at ease during treatment.
