White Oak Dental Practice

He has worked here in Swanley at the surgery for over 20 years, becoming Principal Dentist in 1998 when he renamed it White Oak Dental Practice (previously Dunelm). He trained as a dental surgeon at Kings College Hospital, London, qualifying in 1983. He has had years of general dental treatment experience and will be able to help whatever your dental need is.

He joined the team in December 2011. He was brought up locally going to school at St. Olave’s Grammar school in Orpington, Kent. After his VT year he worked as a house surgeon in oral surgery, paediatrics and radiology for Guys and St. Thomas’s Trust. He then worked as a general dental practitioner in Chislehurst for 7 years before joining us here in Swanley.

She qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at Kings College Hospital, London. Part of her training at Kings College was treating young and nervous children in the paediatric department and within the settings of a local dental community.

Shivani Patel – BDS (London) MJDF RCS (England). GDC no: 251282Shivani qualified as a dental surgeon at King’s College London in 2014, she completed her VT year in Dorset. Her first full time post was in Royal Tunbridge Wells in 2015 where she still works part time. In January 2016 Shivani joined our busy team, here at White Oak Dental Practice, and she is now available on Mondays and Fridays.

Shivani is a local girl going to St Olave's Grammar school for sixth form. Some of you may remember her as she worked at White Oak Dental Practice as a dental nurse for 15 months before starting her studies to become a dentist.Recently Shivani completed postgraduate exams for Royal College of Surgeons gaining a MJDF qualification. She says "I am a friendly, approachable and an understanding individual and want my patients to feel comfortable at each dental visit. I am keen to expand my knowledge and have an interest in attending courses especially in orthodontics and restorative dentistry."
