Dr Sehmi is one of the experienced cosmetic dentists at The Perfect Smile Studios. His focus is in straightening teeth with a variety of adult orthodontic (brace) treatments, and dental implant treatment. He is a clinical mentor for one of the UK’s fastest growing adult brace systems, where he teaches less experienced dentists to treatment plan simple teeth straightening for their patients. Dr Sehmi can offer you adult braces on the outside or inside of your teeth and because we have a team based approach here at The Perfect Smile Studios, you could even have veneers on your top teeth, and straightening for your lower teeth, with each treatment being carried out by the expert in the field. Dr Sehmi has been placing dental implants since 2010, and is experienced in using several different systems. As there is no one perfect implant system, he always recommends the best implant system for your individual situation to get you the best end result. He also has experience in complex surgical techniques to increase your bone so that you get a long lasting and beautiful end result.

He then worked in various oral and maxillo-facial surgery departments including Bromley, Sidcup, Orpington and King college London hospitals. He has completed his MJDF qualification from the Royal College Of Surgeons. This was followed by several positions in general practice. Thereafter he completed the 3-year specialist training focusing on Periodontology and Implant dentistry at the Eastman dental institute and gained the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He was also awarded a distinction for his Masters in Clinical Dentistry and a Certificate in Periodontology by the European Federation of Periodontology (www.efp.org). He has published in peer-reviewed journals and lectured nationally and internationally. Dr Sachdev accepts referrals for gum and dental implant assessments and treatments from dentists in South London and central London area. He currently works with the Gentle Dental Care Group and with the Eastman dental institute as a Clinical Teaching Fellow. For the rest of the week, he is in specialist referral practice in the West End of London, limited to Periodontics and Implant surgery. Narinder, our friendly Specialist Periodontist, graduated from St. Bartholomew’s & The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London in 2007. She was awarded the Harold Fink Prize for outstanding academic achievement and was awarded 2nd Prize by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners FGDP (UK) for her elective studies which was published in The London Hospital Dental Journal and Bart’s & The London Chronicle. After qualifying in 2007 and working extensively in general practice, she then went on to successfully complete her MJDF Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009. In 2014 Narinder completed her 3-year postgraduate training in Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology and Implants at The Royal London Hospital and gained her Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015. Narinder also received an award from the British Society of Periodontology (BSP) and has presented some of her work at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and the British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD). As part of her training Narinder was also involved in supervising undergraduate students at the Royal London Hospital. She is also a visiting lecturer at Eastman CPD and was also the Specialist Training Committee (STC) Representative for Periodontology. She is a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI) and the British Society of Periodontology (BSP). Her interests include the treatment of peri-implant diseases. Narinder’s clinical interests include all aspects of non- surgical, surgical and implant dentistry. She is based in several private practices and will happily accept referrals for all gum related problems and implant assessments.
