Qualified from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry with distinction in 1997, and subsequently went on to do general profession training, the culmination of which was passing the MFDS examination. In 2000, she commenced a 3-year full time specialist training program at Barts and The London in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. She attained her MClinDent in Periodontics in 2002 with Distinction and was entered into the Specialist List in 2003 after obtaining her exit specialist qualification of Membership in Restorative Dentistry from The Royal College of Surgeons (England).

A Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Honorary Senior Specialist Clinical Teacher at Kings Dental Institute at Guy’s, Kings’ College and St Thomas’ Hospital Trusts, where she also completed her specialist training. Her current role within the hospital includes the rehabilitation of patients with head and neck cancer, medically compromised patients and those with developmental disorders such as hypodontia. She had lectures nationally and internationally on these topics, and is also involved in teaching specialist trainees and postgraduate students. As postgraduate Dental Tutor she is also involved in organising CPD for the dental team at Guy’s Hospital.
