He offers removal of wisdom teeth and other difficult extractions under sedation. He works part time in the oral surgery department of the Conquest Hospital, Hastings. He has experience of over 15 years in the field of oral surgery. He has been working in the South East region for the last 9 years. As part of his oral surgery training, he has worked in The Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, District General Hospital, Eastbourne and The Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. He is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDS) and the International Team of Implantology (ITI). He has undertaken extensive training in dental implants and is currently completing his MSc from Bristol University in Dental Implantology. His approach to dentistry is very informal, making your dental experience as comfortable as possible in a relaxed environment. He can carry out all dental procedures painlessly and offers IV sedation for patients anxious about dental treatment. Out of the practice, Asrar enjoys spending time with wife and 3 children. Looking forward to develop further his skills and knowledge in dentistry, he was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF), by The Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is a gentle dental clinician, committed to excellence in patient care in a kind and relaxed environment. He is highly experienced in periodontal diagnosis and treatment planning, being happy to provide non-surgical and surgical treatment, focusing on the management of aspects such as gingival recession, bone regeneration and crown lengthening. He is also an active member of several scientific societies, including the British Society of Periodontology and the European Federation of Periodontology, attending dental conferences on a regular basis to keep up to date his skills and knowledge, in both periodontology and general dentistry. He also holds a position as examiner at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England. He was a Clinical Teacher at The Academic Unit of Restorative Dentistry at The University of Sheffield, having worked in the Periodontology and Restorative Departments. Additionally, throughout his career he has presented several scientific communications at international congresses, such as the EuroPerio 7 hosted in Vienna by the European Federation of Periodontology. He also published a number of articles in several scientific magazines.
