Emma J Dental

GDC No: 73083 Emma trained at Birmingham Dental Hospital, graduating in 1997. She has spent time in South America and Australia before returning to the UK where she settled in Torquay having spent time in the bay as a small child. Emma has a passion for designing and creating beautiful, natural smiles that not only look great but last a long time. She is currently studying for an MSc in Dental Implantology at Bristol University and has a keen interest in cosmetics and Dental Implants. She is a keen sports woman and avid fundraiser for charities.

Practice Manager GDC No: 249916 Leanne is the Practice Manager at emmajdental. She has been working alongside Emma since 2010 and returned to us in 2012 from travelling in New Zealand. Leanne has a keen interest in continuing to extend her knowledge and skills and has recently qualified as an Oral Health Educator. She has also completed the Dental Implant Nurses’ course, Plaque and Debris scoring and Impression taking. Leanne loves to communicate with our patients and has completed a course in sign language to expand her communication skills. Her friendly, caring nature and continuing skills are a great asset to the practice.

Dental Nurse / Orthodontic Therapist GDC No: 146546 Mel is our newest member of the team having joined us in 2015. Mel qualified as a Dental Nurse in the year 2000 and went on to Warwick University to gain a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy in 2009. Mel currently works with us part time as a Dental Nurse and spends the rest of her time in Cornwall working as an Orthodontic Therapist. Mel’s passion lies within Orthodontics but she also enjoys all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. Mel has a friendly and gentle manner with our patients and never fails to put you at ease
