T2 Dental Surgery

BDS (U.Lond) GDC No. 57302 He qualified in 1982 from Guy’s Hospital and worked in general practice in the South of England and Wales before he and Debbie moved to Plymouth with their family in 1994. For a while he was part of the Community Dental Service, working with special needs patients, running operating theatre sessions and enjoying driving the mobile dental unit around the Devon lanes. In 1995 he and Debbie started T2, initially at the Lodge in the old Stoke Damerel School, before moving to Stoke Village. Alun has always been committed to improving and extending his skills. In 2004 he gained the Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London.

GDC No.131684 She originally trained as a physiotherapist at Guy’s Hospital, where she and Alun met. When they started T2, she became more closely involved in the running of the business, finally giving up physiotherapy altogether. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2004 and undertook the dental nurse training for the Bicon Implant System in Boston in 2008. Always keen to keep learning she has gained additional qualifications, including the BDA Certificate in Dental Radiography and is also qualified to take dental impressions.

GDC No 4629 She qualified as an hygienist at Birmingham Dental School in 1994. She has had a varied career working within the NHS, hospital dentistry and now in private practice. Lynn moved back to her home city of Plymouth in 2008. She really enjoys helping people to keep their mouths healthy and is particularly good with nervous patients.
