We at Green Dental, Milnthorpe, Cumbria are committed to providing quality, family friendly dental care, alongside special interests in more advanced techniques of implants, cosmetic and restorative work, adult orthodontics and sedation.
We are well established in our premises opposite the church green, where we have three modern, fully equipped surgeries and an oral health education room especially for providing oral hygiene instruction and fluoride treatments by our trained therapist and oral health educators.
We are accepting patients privately, Denplan and NHS (up to the age of 18 years).

Mr RAB YoungPrincipal Dentist I have been in the General Dental Practice for the last 28 years in Milnthorpe and Kendal. Before that I worked in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in hospitals which I am still involved in on a part time basis. It seemed natural therefore to specialize in oral surgery and dental implants in practice and I have now been restoring missing teeth with implants since 1989 and still find it endlessly fascinating.

I qualified in Newcastle 1991 having been awarded the Sopwith Prize for bridgework in operative dentistry. After twenty years in general dental practice, I went “back to school” to study for three years part time to gain a masters degree in cosmetic & restorative dentistry – graduating in 2010

I qualified from Cardiff University, then worked as a Dental Hospital Registrar mainly in Oro-Maxillofacial surgery, advanced restorative care for adults and children's dentistry before moving to Kendal with my husband, Rab Young. I combine working in practice with family life and pursue many of the outdoor activities for which the Lake District is famous.
