BDS MFGDP (UK) Dip Rest RCS Eng GDC Number:79190 Dr Sarah Hussain is the principal dentist and owner of Bosden Farm Dental Practice and Holly House Dental Practice. She graduated from the University of Manchester, where she later returned and held a teaching post as a Clinical tutor. She is now also an Educational Supervisor for newly qualified dentists. Dr Hussain has gained her MFGDP(UK) and has a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry, from the Royal College of Surgeons. She has a keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and enjoys treating and restoring the confidence of anxious patients.

BDS MFDS RCS (Ed) Pg Dip Rest/Cosmetic GDC Number: 114849 Anupam or “Anu” as he is often called by his patients graduated at Bart’s and the London in 2007. He completed his foundation training in Hampshire and subsequently moved up North to work as a Maxillo-facial SHO at North Manchester General Hospital. For the subsequent 5 years, Anu has built up a wealth of experience in general dental practice and is currently undergoing formal training in dental education with the aspiration to become an educational supervisor to help mentor newly qualified graduate dentists. In addition he is part-way through an MSc in cosmetic and restorative dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire.

BChD MFDS RCPS (Glasg) GDC Number: 211142 Ceri qualified from the University of Leeds before completing her foundation training in Cambridge. She then undertook a hospital based role at Manchester Dental Hospital gaining further experience in oral surgery and restorative dentistry. She has since been a Clinical Tutor for undergraduate students at the Manchester Dental hospital. Currently she works part-time at Holly House Dental Practice and Bosden Farm Dental Practice alongside her role at Salford Community Dental Services treating medically complex patients, patients with special needs, anxious patients and the homeless population of Salford. She enjoys the variety of treatments and patients she is able to provide for. She especially enjoys working with paediatric patients and anxious patients to build on their confidence and trust in dentistry.

BDS Manc GDC Number: 177177 Dr Khurrum Hussain graduated from Manchester Dental Hospital. He worked as an emergency dentist and as a senior house officer at Blackburn hospital’s Maxillofacial department. Here he gained invaluable surgical experience. He has gained his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS). He has worked in both NHS and private general dental practices. While working in general practice he became interested in treating periodontal disease and is now coming to the end of his speciality training in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute. Dr Hussain has been involved with several charity fund raising events, for ‘Youth support trust’ and ‘Save the children’. He has run the London Marathon and enjoys travelling. He has even ‘scaled’ the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Fuji. Dr Hussain has now come to work at Bosden Farm Dental Practice and is treating patients with periodontal challenges. He aims to educate and motivate his patients about their condition and is having some excellent results with PERIODONTAL TREATMENTS.

BDS (hons), MFDS (RCS Ed), MOrth (RCS Eng) GDC: 178515 Meet the Team Dr Farooq Ahmed- BDS (hons), MFDS (RCS Ed), MOrth (RCS Eng) GDC: 178515 Dr Ahmed gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honors (BDs Hons) from the University of Manchester in 2009. He went on to achieve a Certificate in Dental Public Health in 2012. Dr Ahmed obtained his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS) in 2013. He achieved the highest mark in his Membership in Orthodontic examination in 2015 and was awarded the gold medal from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr Ahmed's specialities are managing orthodontic patients. This includes assessment, diagnosis and management of the orthodontic patients and the complexity of their conditions.
