Taylor qualified from The University of Leeds in 1996 with a Degree in Human Anatomy and from The University of Liverpool with his dental degree in 2002, he has since gained a wealth of experience in the dental field - both in the NHS and Private sector nationwide.

As well as being the Principal of Smiles by Design, Taylor also has an NHS/Private practice on the Wirral and in Crewe. He is a Dental Foundation Trainer for Health Education North West entailing training and mentoring newly qualified dental professionals. Taylor also has certification in Clinical Research from the National Institute for Health Research and is currently working towards a Diploma in Postgraduate Clinical Education.

Taylor has a keen interest in the field of , in particular smile design. He is a registered practitioner for Zoom and Oralign clear braces.

He has a specialist interest in non-surgical facial aesthetics and has been trained to advanced level. As Medical Director of Advanced Facial Aesthetics Ltd, Taylor has has trained with the famous Dr Bob Khanna (Ten Years Younger). His wealth of experience in the cosmetic industry includes treating Premier League footballers, actresses and models, as well as being Clinical Lead at several large cosmetic establishments.

His treatments include anti-wrinkle injections, treatment for excessive sweating, migraine treatments, treatments for teeth grinding,, lip enhancement, volumisers, chemical peels and Dermaroller.

Taylor has been interviewed on both television and radio with regard to his Facial Aesthetics expertise, as well as contributing to several large Press releases in this ever expanding cosmetic industry.

He lives on the Wirral with his wife and seven young children and enjoys spending time with his family.

Trevessa gained extensive experience in all aspects of General Dentistry since graduating from Birmingham University in 1991, working in a number of different practices throughout the Midlands and Cheshire including owning her own practice in Staffordshire.

After selling her Practice in 2000, she re-trained as a Legal Barrister before joining a Legal Practice specialising in Professional and Fraud.

Her sense of humour and gentle nature will put the most nervous of patients at ease, with her priority making your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Trevessa has a particular interest in cosmetic smile make overs and . She is also a registered practitioner for oralign.

Her interests outside dentistry are many and varied; she enjoy Ashtanga Yoga and recently qualified as an Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle Consultant. In her spare time she enjoys running, cycling, roller-blading and visiting the gym.

And finally, if you were wondering about the origins of her first name- her parents discovered it on a gravestone whilst holidaying on the Isles of Scilly!

Waleed is registered with the Royal College of Surgeons, the Association of Dental Implantology, the British Association of Oral Surgeons, and is a member of the International Team of Implantology.

Waleed is our in-house specialist in Oral Surgery and Implantology. He has worked extensively in the field of oral surgery in hospital and in practice being the clinical lead in the primary oral surgery NHS referral system for the Wirral and also lectures in this specialist field.

He is also a Dental Foundation Trainer for the Health Education North West entailing training and mentoring newly qualified dental professionals and has a post graduate diploma in post graduate clinical education.

Dr George is our in-house consultant anaesthetist. He has worked extensively both within the NHS and private medical and dental sector for a number of years. He currently works at the dental hospital providing relative analgesia, inhalation sedation and general anaesthetics. He has a specialist interest in dental and endocrine sedation and is a council member of Association of Dental Anaesthetists.

Sally qualified in 1999 with a CEB Diploma in Denatl Hygiene. She has worked both in the NHS and private sector. She takes every opportunity to further her knowledge through continual professional development to deliver the highest level of service.She is committed to providing patient specific preventative and educational services to ensure patients know the best ways to improve and maintain good oral health. We are now introducing air polishing. This fantastic drill-less method of polishing removes stubborn teeth stains and surface discolouration.

Sally is a keen gardener and enjoys reading and keeping fit in her spare time.

Claire has the very important role of the day to day running of the practice. Her main priority is focusing on customer care and ensuring the happiness of patients and staff. She qualifies as a dental nurse in 1996 and went on to be practice manager in 1997. She has worked extensively within the general dental service, community dental service and orthodontic departments gaining a wealth of experience in all areas. Claire is also involved in the out of hours emergency dental service in Chester.

She really enjoys spending quality time with her family and is a keen walker and theatre goer.
