Mark and Sally Shimmin own and operate the clinic and focus on the overall dental health of their patients through preventive dentistry. Dental services at the surgery include regular routine dentistry, services of a dental hygienist, cosmetic dental treatments like crowns, bridges, veneers, ceramic fillings and tooth whitening, and restorative dentistry through Implantology. Private patients are treated and a treatment plan and cost estimate are given to all patients.

Dr Mark ShimminPrincipal Dentist He grew up in Maidenhead attending Furze Platt and Desborough schools. He qualified from Guys Hospital London in 1987, where he was appointed House Officer in Oral Surgery. Following on, he completed his vocational training in Peterborough and has been working in the Maidenhead area since 1989.Mark has a particular interest in Implantology, which he has pursued with a commitment to postgraduate training in this field, including an 18 month advanced training course at the University of Sheffield along with courses in Gothenburg and Belgium.B.Sc(Hons); B.D.S(Lond);D.P.D.S

Dr Sally ShimminPrincipal Dentist She was born in South Wales and attended Howells School in Cardiff. She qualified from Guys Hospital in 1987 and spent a further year there as House Officer and Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery. Sally completed her vocational training in Horsham before moving to general practice in Berkshire.Sally has continued her studies taking further courses in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatments) and the three year D.P.D.S course, Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies. B.D.S(Lond); DPDS (Bristol); L.D.S R.C.S.

Dr Anna AnderssonAssociate Dentist She qualified from Gothenburg, Sweden in 1995. She came to the UK where she undertook a further year of vocational training. Anna worked at a practice in High Wycombe before joining Linden Dental Surgery 2003. Her hobbies include running, golf and yoga. Practice Associate.
